Chicken Curry at Home: An Easy Made Spiced Delight for Your Palate

Updated: Mar 21

In this section, I'm stepping away from Italian cuisine, but this simple chicken curry is a staple in my household because everyone loves it. I'm sharing this recipe with you as well. It's an incredibly easy chicken curry recipe, and even if it seems like there are many ingredients, compared to other Indian recipes, this one uses very few.

Chicken curry is a comforting dish that will delight your taste buds with its exotic, spicy aroma. When served with Basmati rice and fresh fruits like bananas, peaches, and mangos, it makes for a complete meal. This was the first spiced dish my children tried, and they enjoyed it so much that they always ask for it to be a bit spicier each time.

Curry is a blend of key spices: coriander, turmeric, cumin, and red chili.

In the 18th century, curry dishes began gaining popularity in Britain as traders returned from India with these new spices. The Norris Street Coffee House in Haymarket served curry for the first time in 1733, and it has remained a favourite ever since. Today, curry is regarded as one of the finest dishes globally. Even on an Italian mother's menu like mine, you'll find Chicken Curry!
